Chattanooga’s Gilbert & Sullivan Homeschool Players
Thank you to our community for a great 2025/2026 season! If you would like to learn how to participate in Homeschool Players during the next school year, learn more here.

What is HSP?
The CSTHEA Gilbert & Sullivan Homeschool Players are a high-level theatre society serving the greater Chattanooga area. Students come from all over the area to participate in this Gilbert & Sullivan society, as far as Cleveland, Soddy-Daisy, Dayton, Dunlap, and even Dalton and Trenton, Georgia.
If you are a homeschooled teenager and love any capacity of theatre, consider auditioning for our upcoming season. Our acting and singing coaches are top notch! You will grow in your skills! No prior experience necessary to audition.

For more than 25 years, the Homeschool Players have brought Gilbert & Sullivan’s comic operas to life on the Chattanooga stage. The company was founded by Gary Hargraves, whose vision and dedication in those early years built the foundation we still stand on today.
Each season, a cast and crew of homeschooled students works alongside skilled volunteer adults to stage a full Gilbert & Sullivan production, from the first audition to opening night. Along the way, students grow as singers, actors, and musicians, make lasting friendships, and become part of a close HSP family that returns year after year.
